Your New Year’s resolutions

- Don’t be catty with people who post New Year’s resolutions a week after the new year starts.
- Don’t be catty with people who post New Year’s resolutions for you. They are just trying to be helpful.
- Get a library card if you don’t have one. Use it! Also, have a conversation with the librarians while you’re checking out.
- Spend more time in boats.
- Maybe it is time to be less discerning.
- It is definitely time to leave fewer stupid comments on the internet/read fewer stupid comments on the internet. There are so many smart things on the internet; why bother?
- More like this:
- Eat good bread. Do not waste any stomach space on sub-par bread. It is worth learning to make good bread yourself.
- Return that phone call.
- The bcc function: either use it properly or stop emailing people. Period. It is 2009. We don’t have time for this any more.
